| Aluin took a deep breath, still tense from his last talk with Ian and Adrian. He loved his family, but Adrian was a lot to handle on his own, now he had two adrians. It was like holding your own against a pack of lions and having no wand! He nodded to a few early comers, handing them slips of paper. The papers read someones name other than their own. [[Check your inbox to see which name you received]] "Tell no one what name you received, instead I want you to write one good thing on the paper about the person on the paper and give it back to me. [[Respond to the owl]] Then, I want you to leave my class and come back tomorrow. Tell no one the person you received or what you said about them. I'll see you tomorrow morning." *Next Day* Aluin waited the next day for students to arrive, ready to hand out the compliments. He'd set the proper ingredients out on a table and sorted his students into groups. He wrote the groups on the board. GROUP 1 Adrianna Walker - Dyten Gryn - Leopold Burton - Victoria Donovan Aaron Potter - Demi Trason - Keaira Dusk - Stella Martinez Thomas Lupin - Wade Keating
GROUP 2 Adrienne Bouvier - Evelyn Masterson - Matthew McKinlsey - Alexandria Black - Gaspard Kylar - Toby Magnus Anastacia Vernz - Itzcóatl Cetza

| Having come in yesterday only to be told to write a compliment about a classmate that's name was on the paper the professor had given him, Gaspard was curious how this lesson would be. So upon entering he looked at the board and saw that they were divided into two groups. Seeing how the group was divided, the teen let out a breath he'd been holding. He was relieved to see that he wouldn't be paired up with either werewolf.
Hand fingering the silver piece in his pocket he took his seat, turning the trinket over in his pocket while he waited for the other to arrive so they could get into their groups and start. Aside from the fact of two of the people he'd have to have this class with, Gaspard rather enjoyed and looked forward to potions.

| Thomas cursed inside his head when he saw the group list. He wouldn't know a single person yet, and he'd never had the chance to before now, and while it was a good opportunity, he really didn't want to try socialising when there was a potion to brew. He supposed he'd just have to trust them... Not his strong point, but he supposed he'd survive, seeing as it wasn't like the poison lesson last year.
He looked at the names in the group he was in, and guessed the other guy in the class wasn't in his group, though that could be a bad assumption. He picked a place to sit, and just waited until everyone else came in. He hoped he wouldn't be waiting long though, but he doubted he could do this potion alone.

| Ana walked inside and immediately began to read the message on the board. They were to have two groups. She frowned. That many people making one potion? That's bound to be disastrous. She didn't know any of those people but that didn't matter, she was going to get a good grade in Potions if it were the last thing she did. "Group two?" She asked from the front of the room, surely one of them had to be in her group. | |

| Entering the class she looked towards the board and raised a bros. Who the heck were those people? Sighing she hung her head momentarily before raising it and smiling at her professor.
"Good morning Professor Destan. How's your day going so far?" She asked smiling before turning to the class. "Uh... Is there anyone in Group One here?" She asked looking to see if there was a table of some sort saying so.

| Looking up briefly when he saw three more people enter, Gaspard looked from one to the other than went back to reaching for his book. That was until the first girl spoke and he inclined his head slightly. "Yes, I'm in group two. Gaspard Kylar."
Picking up his bag he joined her at her table. Since the other boy hadn't spoken up he assumed the Gryffindor was in group one. And the second girl asked if they were in group one so that ruled her out as part of his group. Looking towards the door the teen wondered what was taking the rest of the students or if they really wanted to test their Potions professor. If they did and wanted to see what they could get away with...Gaspard thought that was a bad idea. After all, he was in the class where Professor Destan had poisoned three of the students. The teen had also been one of the ones that had to prepare an antidote for said poisoned students.

| Breathing out in relief when she finally reached the Dungeon Classroom, and not that late either, Evelyn wondered what exactly they were going to be using the compliments for. Her eyes catching the writing on the board and sighed, sliding them over the rest of the room. There was equipment already out and it seemed that people were already grouping together. She heard a girl mention Group Two, and moved over to the table where she and a younger boy sat.
Dropping her bag next to a seat nearby, she didn't bother introducing herself like she may have before. Looking over the ingredients, she sighed and rested her chin in her hands with a quiet yawn as she waited for more people to join the class. |

| Wade walked in the potions and read the board. See that he was in the same group as Dyten made him happy and frightened at the same time. Seeing that Gaspard was in the opposite group it was easy to find his. Standing over with his group he said Hi and waited for their instructions | |

| Thomas watched as people walked in, and heard someone mentioning group 2. Figuring out that it was the Slytherin girl, he made sure he watched where the group was so he'd not get confused, but while doing that he almost missed the Ravenclaw girl asking if anyone was in group one. He tried to get her attention with a wave, but wasn't sure if it sufficed. Evie wandered in next, and he wondered if the Potions professor secretly wanted him to be stranded with people he didn't know or something... But then, how could Professor Destan know that? It didn't matter much anyway, it was a chance to know new people.
After seeing yet another Ravenclaw enter, and watched him walk over. Thomas waved back politely but didn't say anything in return, trying to think of the steps they might need to take... Why were they in groups anyway? Weren't Potioneers meant to be solo workers, so to speak? Deciding to just wait and see, he faced the other members of his group again, figuring he might as well join in on any conversation if there was one.

| "Hi, I'm Anastacia but you can call me Ana" She smiled at the two Ravenclaws. "Does anyone knows what we'll be doing? It seems a bit strange to have such a big group." She watched the people walk in and take a seat at the other table. Ana noticed that the Ravenclaws were awfully quiet and took upon herself the get them to talk and be comfortable around each other. "So, what is your name?" She turned to the older girl. | |
