In Charms, you learn general spells and wandwork, including such spells as Wingardium Leviosa, Accio and Aguamenti. Spells taught in this class are typically refered to as "charms," though this term can describe a myriad of spells.

At the end of your third year you MUST choose a career path and it will be tested at the end of your fifth year. The options that include potions are: Auror, Broom Maker, Curse Breaker, Dragon Keeper, Healer, Hit Wizard, Magical Law Enforcement Squador, Magizoologist, Mediwizard/Mediwitch, Obliviator, Potioneer, Quidditch Player, Spell Inventor, Wandmaker, and a Professor of Charms (which you must have another career since I most likely won't leave anytime soon)

There will be 4 lessons each year and a final.
For 5th years this is the OWLs, which evaluates you on whether or not you will MAKE it into the job you wish.
For 7th years this is the NEWTs, which is your final examination at Hogwarts.

Exceeds Expectations (E)
Acceptable (A)

Fail Grades
Poor (P)
Dreadful (D)
Troll (T)


Homework
Homework is just practicing your spells we learn in classes and we will practice in class but it also requires that you practice outside the classroom.
